THE JOB DESCRIPTION

Young, small, and tenacious B2B marketing tech company looking for a business operations hotshot to help us move from a marketing agency to a marketing tech SaaS company, based out of Cape Town. We punch aggressively above our weight, and have been consolidating the pieces of our agency’s “value proposition” into a beautiful product offering. It’s an adventure!

Do you want to help us keep “the trains going on time” at the business & drive how we evolve?

How you’ll be co-creating:

You’ll be the person keeping the team, tools & assets delivering. You’ll be the person who keeps customer success on point; and sales bringing in deals. You’ll be operating the floor and moving us forward with what we have. Execution is the name of the game here. Can you visualize & deliver?

This role calls for someone who “gets” BUSINESS & operations, a deliverer under all conditions who's a dreamer with rollout powers. Someone who doesn't understand "the dog ate my homework". skills and attributes would include:

  • ±3-5 years of work experience in business operations.
  • Strong handle of structures, operations, customer success & process/project management.
  • Deep interest in business.
  • Active commitment to customer success.
  • Eager to build experiences that delight stakeholders, which are replicable, scaleable & consistent.
  • Great with people & understanding of needs (ie: good and reading between lines – and at understanding what needs to be done).
  • Understand the power of automation & templatization for acceleration / scale.
  • Excellent communicator – written & verbal.
  • Good record of delivery with small teams.
  • A healthily addiction to order & driving “to do” lists
  • Tenacious & hungry to get things out on the other side.
  • Points awarded for people who operate to an Agile methodology.
  • Youthful, a great human – yet, firm.
  • A high level of quality delivery & expectation coupled with a strong enjoyment for “rolling up sleeves” to get work done.
  • Do you believe “consistency” is gold?
  • Proactive –tackles things upfront, & ahead of time.
  • Great on feedback loops.
  • Always learning. (Read: expert at knowing how to ‘ask questions’ & ‘evolve’)

  • Can play great with other rad humans (near & far)
  • Coffee Machine
  • Do you want to help us productize what we do?
 

BONUS:

  • Experience with Customer Success tools to produce added/consistent results.

Salary

R18 000 – R32 000 pm with performance structure

Experience

±3-5 years of coordinating in a tech-friendly environment.
